Buggy Influence & Pagebuilder

I built a test site a few months ago with Influence and Pagebuilder. After I figured out how to use it, I was fairly satisfied with the results.

Today, with a new site…

1) I have the home slider turned off, but it’s still on the home page.

2) I have the attribution link unchecked, but it’s still there.

3) Pagebuilder is not working even remotely similar to on my other site. Whenever I want to make changes to my text, it jumps to a different editor, and when I return to Pagebuilder, the row has disappeared.

Very frustrated with this lack of consistency.

    Hi Cmoore

Issues 1 and 2 sound like it might be a caching issue. The first thing to check is server-side caching through plugins like W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, etc. If you have any of these caching/performance plugins installed, try clearing their cache and see if that helps.

It might also be browser cache. Try clearing your browser cache, and then refreshing the page to see if that helps.

You can read more about this sort of issue on the WordPress codex – http://codex.wordpress.org/I_Make_Changes_and_Nothing_Happens

For 3, it might be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
