Background Image spanning multiple rows?

By shawn, 10 years ago. Last reply by Greg Priday, 8 years ago.

Hi, I’m new to Page Builder, but this seems like a very streamlined way of creating a website!

My question is in regard to having a background image span multiple Rows in Page Builder. The problem that I have is that I cannot have multiple layouts of Columns within the same Row. For example, within one section I want a headline that is centered at the top, along with 4 buttons below, all within the same Background Image.

It seems that the only way to have a centered headline (1 column) and 4 buttons (4 columns) below is to create two different rows… but then there’s no way to have the background image span both.

Am I missing something here? This seems like it would be a fairly common concern, as a lot of websites have multiple column layouts within the same section/row.

Thanks!
Shawn

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Everyone

The best way to achieve this is with the Layout widget. In this case you’d create a row, give it a custom background, then add a Layout Widget to that row and add your content to that widget.
