    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Lynn

The menu colour can be changed via Appearance->Customize->Theme Settings->Menu. Can you confirm that this is where you were making your changes.

    thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Lynn

could you please check for javascript errors. It sounds like a plugin issue and this will tell us which one is likely to cause the issue.

Just follow the directions for the browser you are using.

    Thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Lynn

Could you please navigate to Plugins and see if there is a plugin installed called Tidio Elements Integrator. If it is there please try disabling it.

If not would you please create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.

Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Lynn

I have found the tidio unit and it is not what is causing the issue. The issue is being caused by this plugin which I have temporarily disabled to test.

    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/spider-event-calendar

You will need to re-enter your sidekick pro license for their plugin. It gets broken because of the CSS used to control the position of the WordPress Colour Picker, giving it an absolute position, which is overriding the themes behaviour.

You can continue to use this plugin but you if you wish but you will need to disable it to make correct use of the customizer and then re-enable it. The onus for compatibility should be on the plugin author who had released an update to fix a bug with the colour picker previously. Please try contacting them through their support pages.

Let us know how you get on
