Adding Text to SiteOrigin Slider

I am really a novice at this so please excuse if I don’t use the correct terminology….I am using Tesseract Theme from Tyler Moore. And have the SiteOrigin Page Builder & Widgets Bundle.

My question is regarding the SiteOrigin slider adding text to it. The slider works well with the theme, and I can put Text onto an image by creating an image of the text that I want and using it as the “foreground image”. The text shows up centered (vertical) on the image. I would like it to be at the bottom of the image.

I was wondering if there is a way to upload an image as “background image” and then use google fonts for text in the “foreground image” in the slider?

Seems like I should be able to use the css code for the font control in place of the “foreground” image code…. Does that seem correct?
If that can’t be done, can you tell me how to make the text “foreground image” show at the bottom of the background image (instead of centered)?

Thanks for all of your help!
