Adding image icon in button widget (Vantage Premium)

11 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 11 years ago

I am trying to add an icon for my buttons, but whenever I add an image it does not appear. When I use one of the icons of the list I do see those. Do I need to use specific pictures, do I need to change the extension of the pictures or is it the size?

I tried to make it work with a jpeg, pgn, ico files varies from 10×20 pixels till 20x30px but nothing worked.

Who can help me with my quests?

    Hi AJ

    We might see the same issue. I’ve asked Greg to look into for me now. We’ll be with you ASAP.

    Hi AJ

    Let me take a look at this. It’s possible you’ve found a bit of a bug in the button widget.

    Hi AJ

    Please install our new widget bundle: http://wordpress.org/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/. Then de-activate the old button widget. Finally, head to Plugins > SiteOrigin Widgets and activate the Button widget. The image issue should now be resolved.

    For sure, let me know if you run into any issues. We’ve had to change plans and remove all the stand-alone widgets from the plugin directory, they are now all contained in the bundle. There will be no data loss in this change-over.

    It works fine now!
    I do have 1 more question and i hope I can ask it here.

    I can choose between full width and boxed layout, is it possible to customize this? I would like to have an even smaller website as boxed.

    Perhaps something like this under Appearance > Custom CSS:

    /* Vantage Container Width - Fixed - Responsive */
    body.responsive #page-wrapper {
    max-width: 900px !important;
    }
