    Hi Ben

When you click on Add Row it will open a dialog to split that row into columns. You can specify the column count and widths here.

If you are trying to add a column to an existing row please click the spanner icon at the top of the row to bring up the same dialog, where you can change the column count and spacing.

    Hope this helps

    Hi Magus,

That’s not exactly what I needed. I did partially figure out how to do what I need but ran into a problem. What I need is one column on the right that runs down the entire page. I was able to do this by nesting columns using the layout builder widget within the left-hand column.

However after doing this, the visual editor does not work properly at all within the nested columns/rows. Is this a known issue?

    Hi Ben

There should be nothing stopping it working the way you are using it, it has been designed to be able to use it this way.

It could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    Thanks

    Magus
