I am using Vantage theme and want to install Bing tracking code, with no success. I’ve tried a couple plug ins, but there’s no real step by step process to follow in either case. After installing, activating, copying and pasting, I could not verify with Bing that the code was installed.
I also saw instructions on how to do without a plug in, (Go to Appearances, Editor, find footer.htp…) but the theme doesn’t have an Appearances –> Editor subdirectory.
I’d like to register my WordPress site on all search engines… Bing, Google, Yahoo. etc. etc etc…. what’s an easy way I can do so. Please give step by step instructions for the technologically challenged. Thank you!

I added that plug in to my WordPress site.
I copied and pasted the meta tag from bing to the header part of the plug in and clicked save
However, I am still not getting a verification from Bing. Here is the message I get———————————
Bing could not verify ownership of this site. See below for more details:

tag not found before : make sure you place the verification tag with the correct verification key (6932DA42B05EFF22A34C997C2DAB91CE) in the section and before the tag in your page.
