Accessing Raw HTML of Pages built with PageBuilder

Hi,

I’m using custom short-code to make it easy to manage content in dozens of pages with the same layout and similar content. I’ve created a short code and it works great! However, I am now trying to build a nicer page with PageBuilder but I need to access the HTML to cut and paste it into the short-code… however, every time I click “text”, the HTML gets changed so I’m having trouble viewing the HTML I’d need in order to get the pagebuilder design right into the short code.

Thanks!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Ben

Unfortunately there is no way to access the HTML of a pagebuilder page. You can add the shortcode in a Visual Editor Widget or a Text Widget, both of which support the use of shortcodes.

    Hope this helps

Hey Magus, thought that may be the case. Do you know of any short-code creator that allows me to build a responsive layout inside of the raw HTML/PHP section? The one I have only allows me to type out raw HTML. I need one line of shortcode to control the whole layout of the page. Maybe I’m going about this wrong? For now, I created 2 columns with Pagebuilder and use 2 separate short codes for the 2 areas. However, I really need to divide up this design into multiple columns/tables and easily manipulate later. That won’t be practical if I need to edit the page builder each time on each and every page. I really really need this layout to “live” in just one place. So that either means a short-code creator with a built-in page builder of it’s own or maybe somehow via the use of a custom template?

Appreciate any thoughts you may have on this for me!

    Ben
