Last time I made a suggestion for adding a map to the widget bundle, and you guys added it right away! I have to publicly thank you for doing that, it’s simply amazing!
I’ve thought about a few other things that really would make well for creating landing pages with WooCommerce. As of right now, the widget showing products has no filters. Adding a functionality to filter on either category or product skus would make for a very effective way to display the exact products you want, when using the pagebuilder. Is this something you have scoped or would this fall under WooThemes to develop?
Another thing I am missing with the page builder, is the option to include blog posts with a filter functionality. This could be, tags, category or even post ID, so you can completely build the page you wish, and then include recent blog posts with a certain tag.
A scenario from my own world (wine industry) would be to make landing pages for Amarone wine. Amarone is not a geographical location, it’s the name of the wine from the Veneto area, and if I was to create a landing page for that, I would write a small text, add a few images, and then I would want to add all my Amarone wine to the page. Now, to do this, I would add products and filter products with the atribute Amarone (or with the word Amarone in the product title) to be shown. In this way I have a dynamic landing page, always containing ALL my Amarone wines. At the bottom, I would add a row, where I would like to display blog posts that was tagged with the word Amarone.
Now I think this is perfect for me, but it could work for a lot of different people, using WooCommerce and wanting to create dynamic landing pages :)
