Video background won’t play

Hi, I’ve been having a constant issue with the video background feature. No matter whether it is self-hosted, or hosted elsewhere, it will not play. When I test the site only a blank background appears, without any play buttons or no clear indication a video is supposed to be there. I’ve tested this through using…
