No option to edit menu or theme colors

Hello, I recently installed vantage theme. I have read the guidance on this page (https://siteorigin.com/vantage-documentation/customizations/menu/) but when clicking Appearance > Customize I do not have a theme design option. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards Ryan
