Change font-family in Vantage theme

I have tried to change the font throughout the website, but no change is visible. I tried Custom CSS and then played around with google web fonts and the Easy Google Fonts plugin, which does not look like the screenshots that explain how to use it. I also checked out the code suggested to someone…
