SiteOrigin Social media buttons widget turns itself off

Hi, I’m fixing a Vantage-themed website for a friend and trying to change the social widget from the presumably Vantage one to the SiteOrigin one, in order to change icon colors. However, when I turn it on in plugin settings, it does not stay that way and I can’t see it in the widget choosing…
