How to add a thumbnail to the posts?

I’m using the vantage theme. And it so good. But on my posts (when carousel selected in post loop) the thumbnails are grey. And when grid selected there are no thumbnails. Can some please explain me how to add those thumbnails. URL: http://hcgameplays.comuf.com/
