Blog page won’t display comments section

Hi. I’ve created a blog page (not my home page) and selected “allow comments/allow track backs” under discussions menu. I’ve written and added a post. However, the comments section does not display on the page. I’ve read some other people who’ve had this problem and the fixes related to settings and activating features don’t seem…
