Default Column Count Editor (add new row)

We have a 1 column page and if you add a new row in the editor the default column count is always 2. I found a filter with name “siteorigin_panels_row_column_count_input” to modify the underlying markup but is does not work. The markup gets changed and the value is “1” for example but the editor opens…
