Remove “Theme By SiteOrigin” From Footer

Hi, I want to remove this specific link in the footer and I chose the child theme option. I am using a free vantage theme installation. The problem is that, when I upload the corrected footer.php file into the child theme folder, the footer itself goes into boxed layout size and one of my plugins…
