I bought the theme Focus on theme forest.com and for a couple of days now it’s just the blank html:
When checking in the WP backend, all the features are disabled, asking me to pay once again, for something I already paid 50$???
Are you kidding me? This is my business page and you turn off all the features without notification?
Explain!!!
Hi Taijikat
If you purchased a theme called focus from ThemeForest, then it wasn’t our theme. Based on a quick search, there are 4 different themes called Focus on ThemeForest. You’ll need to contact the author who you purchased your theme from.
I just checked, you’re right, the theme was sold by a company called FutureBuilding. But can you tell how your theme ended up on my web hosting? I made screen shots, but you don’t allow to upload them here. But if you check the footer of the site linked above, it is clearly your site theme. What’s going on here?

Our themes are hosted on the official WordPress.org theme directory. This is were WordPress, by default, checks for theme updates. Any theme not hosted on the WordPress.org theme directory (like those distributed on ThemeForest) needs to include some code to tell WordPress not to check the directory for updates.
My guess is that FutureBuilding either didn’t know about this, or forgot to include this code. You can send them this link:

Hopefully they add this so this doesn’t happen again :)
The thing is, I never updated the site and it was not set on updating automatically. Also the theme has since been removed from Themeforest, so something is fishy. But you’re saying, that somehow the site updated and pulled your files from the WordPress depository? Weird and very unlikely. In any case, I’m sorry I let off the steam at the wrong guy. Thanks for your understanding.
That’s always unfortunate when your theme developer goes missing like that. You should still be able to download a copy of the most recent ZIP file though ThemeForest though.
If you have automatic updates enabled, then your theme will automatically update without you having to do anything. So I’d suggest disabling automatic updates as a temporary measure.
You can follow this issue more closely here. Unfortunately there haven’t been any developments on this issue in quite some time https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/14179
