Total Page Wipeout

By Glenn Hefley, 9 years ago. Last reply by Glenn Hefley, 9 years ago.

The SiteOrigin said it needed and update — so I did that.

My whole front page is gone. All of it. 20 hour of work, poof.

Any ideas? Should I do a rebuild from backup and never update?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Glenn,

Did you update any other plugins at the same time? Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if that fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, you can reenable your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This will help you diagnose where the problem is coming from.

After you’ve done that, I’ll try having a look in your admin for myself to see what’s wrong.

No good, the page is over written (it has an "updated" time mark on it as well. You don't support this skin any more.. I knew that going in, but I liked that it had the basic look I wanted.

I've been plugging at it all night, but not the front. I was hoping there was some way of recovery, but now I don't want it recovered — I've changed my mind with some of the ways I wan to present the blog. However,
you can jump in and take a look at things if you would like. I have an account set up as "greg" Since this is going to be posted, I'm not sending the password, but if you send me a real email address I'll shoot it to you and let you poke and prod if you would like.
