This thread is related to “Missing Widget” by “Kai Nicolai”.
I suppose I’m having the same problem here:
When I add a widget to page builder and press “Update” afterwards I get a “Missing widget” error.
Below the “Missing Widget” message PageBuilder displays the full Widget class name (i.e. including namespaces). But all backslashes (that separate the namespaces) have been removed so namespaces and class name were merged into a very long string. Obviously PageBulider cannot find this class name.
I suppose before storing the class name PageBuilder 2 uses some escape function to remove backslashes from the class name.
I consider this a bug – as namespaces are a useful feature.
Could you please fix this?
Thanks in advance,
Carsten
Note: when I place my widgets in the global namespace everything works fine.
