Pitch Premium: Ok to update to WordPress 4.3.1?

I’m using Pitch Premium on WordPress on an old version of WordPress (3.6 I think). I sorely need to update WordPress but I’m worried it will break the theme as I got this from the WordPress.org site:

“This theme hasn’t been updated in over 2 years. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.”

Does anyone know if it’s OK to update? I’m concerned the theme is not being supported and I don’t want the site to break.
