I just activated page builder on my wordpress site and it blew it up. Cant get into my site or the dashboard.

Don’t know if this is the site to be asking this but I’m not knowledgeable in WP and don’t know what hapened.

If this isn’t the place, can you redirect me to another support site?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi there,

    Which error is being displayed?

You can try this: create a backup of your complete site, then logging in via FTP, and trace your wp-content/plugins/ folder and rename the plugins folder to something else e.g pluginsOld .

After that check if you can login again

If you can, then re-upload and activate all your plugins one by one until the issue re-occurs. This will help you isolate which plugin is causing the issue.

Try that out and let me know the outcome.

Sorry for the late response, I use this email address for stuff I'm not sure about (e.g. craigslist, etc) and I don't check it everyday.

hostgator tech support was able to go in and deactivate all plugins. Then I was able to get back into my dashboard and reactivate my other plugins, but so far, I've left pagebuilder deactivated.

When I get the time, I might create a test website to use it on.

    Hi Addo,

    Thanks for your help.
Whew! I'm almost ready to give up on WP and try Weebly!

I had pagebuilder installed and working and was getting use to how it works.
But I did something to a custom menu (or something else —I don't know)
and went back into my page tab to edit the page and the pagebuilder tab wasn't there anymore.
I looked around for awhile trying to find out what happened and where it went. Finally I decided to deactivate and delete and re-install pagebuilder.
But it still doesn't show up in the page edit screen.

It says it is activated in the plugin page.

    Any ideas?

Addo, disregard the previous emails. I finally found the problem:

    settings/pagebuilder/ general/posts –wasn't checked for pages.

You know, as popular and great a tool wordpress is, you'd think they would come up with a better user interface.
Thanks for the great plugin–now let's see if I can get things going again!
