Is it not possible to remove ” Theme by Site Origin ” in the Portal theme?

I looked at this link already regarding removing

I don’t mind keeping a link in the footer, however I would like the option to at least be able to tone down it’s color.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi gobackforward

    There are 2 ways you can do this. Either you can use some custom CSS to change the colors of the Theme By SiteOrigin text, or you can hide it completely using display none (although this might be a bad idea from an SEO point of view as it could be considered hidden links).

    Another option is to create a child theme that overwrites footer.php with its own file. You’d just need to copy the original footer.php and remove lines 46-48.
