Incompatibility: Social Network Auto Poster

Update: This issue has been resolved in the latest version of SNAP (3.3.8).

Page Builder has a small incompatibility with the Social Networks Auto Poster plugin. We’re working with Nextscripts to fix the issue. For now, here are some details about the incompatibility.

When both plugins are active, text widgets in Page Builder pages no longer function correctly. A text widget with only text will work as expected, but adding any HTML in the text widget will cause the content of the widget to be cleared after the page is saved.
Steps To Reproduce

Create a new page with Social Networks Auto Poster enabled.
Add a text widget to the page.
Edit the text widget and add some HTML. For example a link.
Save the page.
The content of text widget is now empty.

With Social Networks Auto Poster disabled, the text widget will still contain the original HTML.

We created a video about how to find plugin conflicts that deals with this particular issue.

I still need to double check the fix and remove the message, but as far as I’m aware it’s been fixed.

I can confirm that with the latest version of Social Network Auto Poster (3.3.8), there is no longer an incompatibility. A huge thanks to Ludwig for helping our plugins play nicely together.

I will remove the warning from Page Builder in the next update.
