Gray Space Between Nav Menu & MetaSlider — Vantage Layout

I’m completely new to building a website on WP, although I’ve had experience building websites previously, so some of it is coming back to me little by little. Please bear with me :-D

The issue: gray area between menu & slider (http://tumesh.com/dir/). The space appeared after I inserted a third slide into the slider, which I removed after I noticed the space but that didn’t seem to have solved the issue. The dimensions of the third image were the same as the other two: 1080 by 420.

When I remove the slider from the homepage completely, the gray area is no longer showing, so I’m guessing the issue here is with the slider.

Please help! :-)

    So I just noticed something in the Slider settings. Width is showing as 1010px, and I can’t seem to change it. Height is 420px.
