Featured images do not appear in the Post Carousel – Theme Aviator

Good night. Can not get thumbnails appear in the Post Carousel on my homepage. Neither I see as indicating the featured picture on the post editor. Can you help? Thank You.

    Thanks for letting us know about issue. I can confirm that it’s a bug with Aviator. I’ll fix it up in the next update. Very sorry about that!

    I’ve run into the same problem. Any progress on this? I downloaded the Aviator theme about four days ago. If the bug has not been fixed, can you offer any advice on how to fix it myself? I see the “add_theme_support( ‘post-thumbnails’ );” line in the theme’s functions file, but the “Featured Image” metabox is not showing up on the Post page in the admin. Thanks.

    I figured it out. Didn’t notice the first time I found the “add_theme_support( ‘post-thumbnails’ );” line in the theme’s functions file that the line was commented out (not sure why). I just uncommented the line and now Featured Image shows up on the admin page for Posts. Works now. Hope that helps anyone else.
