CSS Editor Hover Errors

10 years ago · Last reply by Greg Priday 10 years ago

I had many of my students install this plugin but many of them ran into a problem when using the plugin. When they hover over an element on the page and clicked on it nothing would appear at the bottom and when they hover over another element it would do the same thing. The strange part is that as they hovered back over the previous element it would get consistently darker and darker each time they hovered over that image. Any solutions as to what might be going wrong with this? Thanks for your help.

    Hi John

This sounds like your students might be running into a plugin conflict issue. Are they running quite a few plugins on their WordPress installs?

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
