copy / paste

By Josh Graham, 9 years ago. Last reply by Magus, 9 years ago.

hi. i accidentally created large/complex pagebuilder post as a “page” instead of a “portfolio.” the theme i am using differentiates pages/portfolios and effects how they are used across the site. I am trying to copy / paste everything i have set up in page builder from the page to portfolio, but it is not working. the pagebuilder elements show that they copy to the clipboard, but when i attempt to paste it into the new portfolio, it prompts for a short code only.

is there a way to do this?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Josh

You should be able to do it this way.

Edit the portfolio and click on the pagebuilder tab at the right hand side of the visual editor. If you do not see this tab then please navigate to settings->PageBuilder and ensure that portfilios is an enabled option.

Once in pagebuilder click on the prebuilt button at the top, this will open up an overlay window.

On the overlay click on the clone pages option and click on the page you previously created.

This will make an exact copy of the structure.

Let us know how you get on

    Magus
