Brush Icon was missing

By Alex Goodall, 10 years ago. Last reply by Greg Priday, 10 years ago.

Hello

I’ve just installed Page Builder and am testing it out: looks to have great potential.

Just a FYI ….

I was about to ask a question because I couldn’t see the brush icon when I was testing out my first use of the builder: I even switched to TwentyFourteen and deactivated all other plugins.

And then I decided to try one more thing: I saved my test page … and the icon appeared.

Small point, but important for first impressions.

Will continue to test it out.

Thanks

Alex

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Alex

Thanks for trying out Page Builder. This icon only appears when there’s a prebuilt layout or another page to clone. So unless your theme is specifying prebuilt layouts, it makes sense that the brush icon wouldn’t appear when you first start using it. I will try clarify this in the documentation though.
