Basic customisation?

Hey,
I just downloaded this plugin earlier today. I wasn’t able to find some crucial settins, like a line or object heigth, so I thought you rely on users customizing in css. So I tried setting up a css class and inserting its name into the Class field in elements + using min-height or max-height in my style – but that didn’t work either. With some plugins the class didn’t get assigned at all, with others the dev console told me it’s adopted, but made no change to the formating whatsoever. What am I doing wrong? I really like the idea of this plugin, but just can’t get it working.
