Trouble using The Events Calendar

Hi, Could somebody help me please? I’m a novice but helped a friend build his site using the SiteOrigin Current theme which he really likes. However for some reason we can’t get The Events Calendar to work on the events page as the calendar appears blank despite there being lots of entries being made already.…
