Page Builder Introduces 16 New Languages

With Page Builder, we want to bring content creation that’s free and powerful to the world. It’s our goal to democratize content creation in the same way WordPress itself has.

Yesterday, we made a huge leap in that direction by adding 16 more languages to Page Builder. In alphabetical order, these are Afrikaans, Bulgarian, Chinese (simplified), Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, Spanish and Swedish.

We’ve effectively expanded the audience of people who can use Page Builder in their first language by eight times.

Please join me in welcoming this new audience to the SiteOrigin Page Builder community. If you’re able to, introduce non-English speakers in your WordPress community to Page Builder and show them what they can do with it.

We’re not stopping here either. We’re working on adding more languages to Page Builder. Join in on our translation project if you’d like to help bring Page Builder to your local community.

    Hi

Very interesting, we are an international film festival and we would like to have all the languages in our website to reach more people
What is the next step to put in our website?

This a great improvement. I was a fan allready, but now I can recommend this plugin to far more people, who are either not so familiar with WordPress, the english language or both :-) Enjoy this moment and have a nice weekend :-)

Thanks Esther! I hope you enjoy using Page Builder in your home language (it’s Dutch, am I correct?).

Hi Greg. I’m a relative newcomer to WordPress (about 18 months or so). I have only in the last 3 months started using Page Builder and the Widgets that go with it. Together, these 2 plugins have opened up so many possibilities in terms of being creative … I’m actually considering rebuilding some recently built sites of mine.

For me personally, it’s a source of pride to see world class innovations like Page Builder (as well as your other products) being created right here in our home country – South Africa; and then of course the translation release in one of our official languages, Afrikaans.

Well done Greg, keep up the good work!

In spite of what’s been going on here in recent weeks, we’re all still very proudly South African. We’ve even spoken to someone about getting Xhosa in, just to show off our South African roots. Hopefully, that’ll be done soon.

Awesome to hear you’ve had some good use out of Page Builder and it’s awesome to have you as part of the Page Builder community.

Very nice, keep up the good work! What are the future plans for page buillder?

    • 2 years, 6 months ago Greg Priday Hi, I Work Here

Right now, we’re just focusing on making Page Builder as great as it can be. There’s a lot of code refinement going on behind the scenes. It’s all about making SiteOrigin Page Builder the obvious choice for both users and theme developers wanting to add drag and drop functionality to their themes.

    Greg,
You surprised me, excellent job! Everything is in Dutch now, without difficult *.PO translations (for me).
