Installer Page Builder’s New Live Editor
Page Builder‘s new Live Editor is going to change the way you build websites. We’re now giving you the ability to perform all the actions you’d need to create a new page, completely inside the Live Editor with its near real-time updates of what your content is looking like.
This new feature along with a whole bunch of other new features and performance enhancements are available in the latest 2.4 update of Page Builder.

I’ve been using SiteOrgin’s products for about 6 months now. Between their Vantage theme the custom CSS editor and the page builder I’ve actually started enjoying working with WordPress.
I much prefer this page builder over the paid CV one. The upgraded live editor will now be a tool set I use in many future projects.

Hey this is something else let me tell you this I am so proud to say to any body I am using SiteOrigin Theme. guys you are working so hard to make our life easy with or without any experience in the WordPress I am new to this world of themes I have never ever tried it before till I come across SiteOrigin and I gave it a go it was, it was so simple so easy to work with. Thank you is not enough to say for your great work. All I can say that I am having a good time with my Vantage Premium and well a head of my self by being creative now.

To think some Page Builders from other studios cost so much.
SiteOrigin offer theirs for Free is outstanding! This adds incredible value to the WordPress eco system.
Where’s that Donate Button??? You guys deserve at the very least a coffee, beer, donuts, something to show how much I (‘we) appreciate your work.
I personally get a huge kick out of adding something to the WordPress ecosystem. In the future, we will be adding a few more premium products around our current free ones (like Vantage Premium), to help us fund more development.

It doesn’t work on SOME sites of mine. One old single site is not working. The nice left panel shows up with text on top of each other and no icons for screen sizes. The only way to get back is with the back button on the browser.
Same problem on 2 mature sites on a MS. 1 new site and one not yet released work.
I’ve changed themes, disabled all plugins I can without ruining the live sites. Always same result, those that work continue to do so, the ones that don’t, no change.
Contact me privately so I can set up and send you logins to some of the sites for you to check out.

You guys are not just an innovative and reliable team, but also an inspiration for the WordPress Community. I haven’t had chance to test yet the new PB, seeing the viedo it looks very interesting the new live editor.
Furthermore, showing the new functionalities with a video it’s indeed handy for both old and new users to find out quickly the how to.
P.s What I love most are the new 3 tabs for the 3 devices.
This was actually a last minute feature – it did come out quite well. With mobile becoming more and more important, seeing your content on these different devices is a huge help. Thanks for all the great feedback and continued support Andrea. It’s very much appreciated.

Hi Alan! If you post over on our support forums, we should be able to help you out. Very glad to hear you’re enjoying our WordPress goodies though.
This almost looks like the WordPress Customizer (the collapse, the desktop/mobile/tablet icons) ? I believe with the new Fields API coming and getting widget page building integrated into the Customizer is the next logical step. I just hate the pop-up still. Another idea would be to have the widgets expand to toggle functionality live (using the upcoming FIelds API). I created a mockup of what it could look like in the future.

Sorry, I missed your comment. Yeah, that’s a great looking interface you created there. SiteOrigin Page Builder has slightly different goals. With it, I want to create a rock-solid column builder interface that can work in various different places. So the Live Editor, the posts/pages interface, and even inside a widget. In the future, I’d even like to add a SiteOrigin Builder field to Advanced Custom Fields. All of this means we’ll be focusing on the builder interface we’ve been working hard on all these years rather than switching to the Fields API.
That said, perhaps we or someone else could look at creating a light weight alternative to Page Builder that does something like this.
I have just used the upgraded version for the first time. It was intuitive and fast to use. It was awesome to see the changes real time.
