The Layout Builder

https://siteorigin.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/12-Tips-Layout-Builder.mp4

The Layout Builder is probably the most advanced WordPress widget available. It’s entire Page Builder interface, right inside a widget. This comes in really useful for building things like custom footer layouts.

You can also use it to achieve some very advanced layouts. Be careful with this though. It’s a really powerful widget, but it does result in some nesting that can get confusing. You could technically put a Layout Builder inside a Layout Builder, hundreds of times, but you’d land up with a crazy mess.

So when you use it, you want to use it responsibly. Always try and create your layout using standard Page Builder rows. If you run into something that isn’t possible using just a row, then think to yourself “would having an entire nested row, make things easier.”

But, again, even if you just use the Layout Builder as a way to create an advanced footer, it’s a widget that you really shouldn’t overlook.
