vCard doesn’t give you anything flashy. I think you can agree that most of the time, flashy isn’t good. It’s all about subtly and simplicity. All you need to do to get started is upload a photo of your oh-so-sexy face in the header image uploader, add some content then set up your menu. That’s all there is to it.
FredricIf there is someone else who cant get the menu items to work you can do what i did. I changed the css like this #main-menu li.page-portfolio-php em { background-image: url(images/icons/work.png); } #main-menu li.menu-item-8 em { background-image: url(images/icons/work.png); } It not the best solution since its not dynamic. But i works. Thanks for a great theme.

RobertaI'm sorry but I still cannot see the icons on the menu...I inserted the code in the header but I see only the generic document icon. What does it mean "It’s important to insert the CSS classes in every link of the template menu"??? Could you explain the right procedure??? Thx

SteinarTrying to put up a simple static cv with the vcard theme. However, I can't seem to get the headings to come out nicely. It seems that if I select a Page Template in the Page Attributes, the attribute isn't really applied. Looking at the published page, I see that class for the headings is still "entry-content", whereas I think it should be "entry-resume". Shouldn't this have changed when I selected the Resume template?
Gianni CarfagnoHi emlyn, you have to past the jQuery code in header.php file just before the tag. You can look at the title bug opening a new browser tab to the demo site of vCard. If you point your mouse to the browser tab (in which you have the vCard site) you can see that there is no space between the merged title and tagline. The theme has other little SEO issues, but they are easy to hack. I use vCard on my WOM ! SEO site.
